Today we started off with Laif joining us here in Omaha. We are heading to Nauvoo today. Laif will be doing most of the driving to give Donna a break. I still get to be spoiled and get the front seat. We stopped in Des Moines where Donna got a manicure and I got a Pedicure. Since it is Monday, most of Nauvoo closed early, but we looked around town a bit and had dinner. After we checked into our hotel (yes, I got a handicapped room), we returned to Nauvoo and saw the dress rehearsal of the Pageant. It was really wonderful. We sat under the lights with lots of moths. Tomorrow we are planning on going into the temple. After that we will see the rest of Nauvoo before we head off to Carthage and then Hannibal. I am still enjoying the beautiful scenery in the Midwest and all of the wonderful warm weather.
