It has been an interesting day so far. The guys came to do the drywall work. Doug and John. They started where the lights will be for the island. I was checking on things after they were working a bit and as you can tell from the first picture, they plastered over the box where the drop lights were supposed to be. I told John that drop lights were supposed to go in there but he said there were no wires. I knew that wasn't right so I called Debbie in Atlanta and sent her a couple of pictures. She called Kent and I had John call Kent. As you can see from the bottom picture, John opened up the hole. I am glad I caught that. It saved a little work. I am not a trained Supervisor but I guess I better keep my eyes on things. I don't know what they thought of an 81 year old lady questioning their work.

I fixed my breakfast and lunch in my room and did my dishes in the bathroom sink. I guess I will be doing that for awhile. I am glad I saved my Microwave that I had at Merrill Gardens. I bought my own refrigerator shortly after I moved here. I have all the necessary comforts. I will continue to take pictures of the kitchen because Debbie will be gone all week.
