Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in Dallas, Texas

The Arboretum in Dallas is much, much larger than Buchard Gardens in Victoria. So many varities of flowers, shrubs, trees, etc. Just breathtaking. The park takes up 66 acres and is located on White Rock Lake.
It looks like I am in a jungle at the Arboretum.
Debbie is standing in front of a waterfall. This park just has everything.Debbie invited me to go with her to Dallas on a working trip. My Garmin helped us a lot. Garmin was not absolutely perfect but did figure out most of the time where we were and where we were going. The hotel we were staying in was only 2 months old and was not on Garmin yet but fortunately Debbie had printed directions to her work (which was nearby) and we were able to find the right exit. But we were late getting to bed because of not being able to find the exit. We did not get to bed until nearly 2 am. It was not bad for me but Debbie had to go to work on about 4 hours sleep. Other than that little glitch everything else went good.
I really enjoyed the trip. I can't believe all the places I have been to in this last year. I have been on more trips than I've ever done in previous years.
I'll put more pictures of our trip on next time.
